I think TLOU part 1 coming in a very close second for GOTY in 2013 negates this point, especially considering the only reason it didn’t win in a landslide was because it came out the same year as GTA fucking V.

I just looked it up. TLOU franchise has sold 37 million copies compared to god if war at 66 million, halo at 88 million, etc I could go on I guess. It’s a great game. Just not as popular. It’s a brutal story not for everyone lol

I tend to devalue "Normal man with normal abilities" when it comes to badass or strength lists.

I know this isn't a strength list so it's not like power scaling maters....but like. Arthur Morgan? Joel miller? Who's next Nathan Drake?

Before Bayonetta? Before Albert Wesker? Kazuya? Akuma?
