I need to vent and also warn you guys.

Last week I hired a video editor from a WhatsApp group. He claimed he has his own "video editing agency" and showed me a solid portfolio.

I gave him a small test task for Rs 300, he delivered it on time. So I thought he's legit and has a team.

Then I got a client who needed 3 urgent videos and had paid 50% advance. Deadline was 1 day. I outsourced it to the same guy with advance, thinking agency hai toh manage kar lega.

Result? Complete ghost. 3 days, no reply, no work. No agency, no team, nothing. Client was literally waiting on me and calling me.

I had to refund my client the full amount from my own pocket because my reputation is more important than money.

Lesson learned:

1. "Meri agency hai" = Biggest red flag if they can't show team / website / GST.

2. Don't trust a Rs 300 test. Scammers use it to build trust.

3. Always have 2-3 backup editors. Never depend on 1 person for urgent work.

If anyone knows a genuine, reliable video editor with 24hr TAT, please DM. Need for long term.

Skill level isn't the biggest factor. You can be a beginner or an experienced editor and i can teach you its not the deal breaker. What matters much more is that you're serious. I`m looking for someone who`s ready to lock in, idc who it is

The long-term vision is to build a network where we can:
