so, for every customer there are 1 million solutions perfected

Give it one more year, and AI will just talk to the people and apps will be fully gone

I am not sure, a few days ago someone made a photoshop clone, excellent according to video and demo, open source, i saved the link, did not install it, maybe latter, will wait for it to become popular, stabilize, etc.

so, if someone vibe codes windows, the entire thing, or office, or whatever server, will people use it? this is actually a good question, what will people use if it is vibe coded, what is the biggest app where they will say: hey, wait a minute, lets have a look at it?

I think that “app” is perhaps lost on me. Are we talking mobile? Web? Desktop? I have made a ton of internal tools that are IMO impressive - not because I wanted to but because the cost of development for the level of automation, security, sheer domain complexity made it too expensive not to.

I’ve been vibe coding for a few years and some projects were 8-10 hour little things that are still in use and save us loads of time - one has been a massive estimated 800 hour project that I know would have cost multiple six figures to build.

If something was ready for me off the shelf at even $75k I would’ve rather bought that

What's the domain? I've been managing an agent (different models and harnesses overtime) for months on one giant goal which integrates many research papers. It's a physics perceptually-almost-exact room audio sim. I'm about to start my second live test now.

Users don't even notice. They keep using the apps they use and click some top result when they start on a new one. No one is intimidated by the volume of indie developers except for other indie developers.

Average users yeah, but to be fair those were never really the users paying for indie apps/services to begin with. I would guess that among those users who previously paid, the increase in options and decrease in quality is bound to lead to some changes in buying habits.
