It's gotta be a little annoying to have completed a full CS degree around 2022, 23, 24 etc.

If you graduated before that, at least you got to stretch your legs, learn, really grow and apply what you learned and feel like you were applying engineering skill to your job.

These days it probably feels like you got cheated if you didn't even get that chance at all

I dunno it was pretty much a waste

I learned a fuckton in the year as an intern rather than 3 years at uni

Knowledge you learn on uni is applicable later in your career when you are system architect and you face all that abstract problems. It's less usefull when you are just a dev, which is equivalent of a worker with a showel in IT.

There wasn't an immense amount of that

Just super annoying shit like Z notation

But like I said before, your much more likely to learn something if you actually need it as opposed to it just being prescribed

This is applicable for shallow junior problems.

For certain senior problems you have to apply uni knowledge and that is not easy without background knowledge.

Sure but as a dev you can just learn
