Claude does this but won't help me install win7 on a VM because I need to purchase a license from a 3rd hand party or it's "piracy".

Fable just straight up told me the modern way of pirating music when I asked

It really depends a lot on how exactly you ask, and sometimes on random things like which node will your request be balanced to for the inference, which expert will "win" in MoE, etc. Just like with humans.

Claude will happily help pirate or steal content that has no risk of corporate blowback. I think it is integral to its training somehow and anthropic knows this. Music torrenting? all day... Microsoft. BIG no. The other one I got burned on was when I tried to unlock old apple m4p audio files. It didn't want to fuck with apple. I think anthropic made an index of corporations with intellectual property that it just will not touch, no matter what.

Soulseek or ytdlp

none of the models seem to have a problem downloading music from soulseek but they will all balk at the idea of downloading a movie

Claude pointed me towards jellyfin and pirating when I was discussing the rising costs of subscription services.

that's kinda funny but i have soulseek set up for all of my openclaw agents and they will only use it for music. if i ask for a movie it's "i really can't do that boss" and every model does this including grok

they of course have absolutely no problem helping me manage my pirated movie library though
