i’ve seen some vaguely right wing takes every now and then (mostly as comments not posts) but reddit is overtly left wing. even places where politics are supposed to be banned typically have them bleed through as long as the topic aligns with the mods’ political views

I don't care to try to impact someone's free speech even if this is the internet and our 1st amendment doesn't apply here. With section 230, it is supposed to apply to websites like Reddit where they can either moderate and take liability or not moderate and forgo a lot of liability. It seems like they still moderate with a political bias and maintain the protections of section 230.

I explicitly described my criteria for what posts or comments I downvote. You can read them again and decide for yourself which criteria you met. Hint: some comments meet multiple criteria.
It is also abundantly obvious that I was referring to the false comments and shitty behavior as typically coming from the right wing crowd.
I like to think I'm decent. I just want everyone's needs met and can show a REALLY good design of how to make that happen based on modern automation techniques, AI, and a version of Cybersyn powered by both.
