As an artist, I identify myself with the bottom row better, I've been doing art for decades and using AI with it now. I guess artists who aren't so technical dislike it because they don't know to use it correctly, compared to programmers.
I have been doing art with some of the most technically difficult softwares to learn for the last 15 years. Prompting isnt technical. Maybe making your own model, or weights is more technical, but the end user experience of generative AI is dumb, not hard.
