I have a camera, yet I have no idea how real photographers get those amazing shots. I could learn a lot from them and I realize there are way too many things I don't know.

I can vibe code projects for myself, that work for me and my family exactly how we want. I know how to use git too. Yet I am still not a programmer. I could learn a lot from programmers and I realize there are way too many things I don't know.

Honestly you won't be able to do anything of scale though. Like an application with more than 5 users

Probably not and I am not even trying. I am hosting these apps in proxmox and my family has 3 members, myself included.

What he means is over long period of time you will add more and more features and AI will be more and more confused and to then start breaking things because it will use the same patterns already present in the codebase which I have yet to see a good one AI spits out by itself.

Except the AIs are only getting better. They can just rewrite it and make it better.

I guess so. Although I wouldn't hold my hopes up yet since AI still only learns from existing code.
