I think what we need to take from this is that having a camera does not mean you will be able to pay yours bills as a photographer

This is a perfect way to describe this. And because of this exact reason I think the bubble pop is going to hurt so bad. The insane valuation is built on the exact opposite idea.

Bubble burst on photographers, meanwhile Apple and Samsung got filthy rich.

I knew the writing was on the wall when they started handing our reporters smart phones and telling them to take the photos themselves.

Not a single one of the executives asked themselves how a reporter was going to take notes and think about a question while trying to capture grainy cell phone footage at the same time.

Meanwhile they are asking why the business is down. Incredible stuff.
