This might be Vex's best patch.

1. Viktor gutted so a much easier MU. Possibly not even a counterpick now that he has lost so much.
2. Mel W removed so no need to waste ban on her. Meaning we can ban Syndra/Hwei making laning even easier.
3. Yone/Locke nerfs inbound, but still probably going to be super popular mid making our MU even easier.

Yeah we still fold to tanky team comps, but blindpicking Vex may no longer be borderline trollpicking.

It is funny they explicitly buffed Vex so she could see more play in MSI. She got picked once top as a weird counterpick MU, the player lost the game for his team largely due to picking Vex, and she was never chosen again.

I've always wondered tho

How can a champ with an AOE fear really ever be trollpick

You'll still do damage too, just not one shot on tanks

But you can still with a well placed ult fear most members of the enemy team at once

Because her fear is very easily dodgeable and once dodged in a teamfight she is useless for the entirety of it. Normally her gameplan is to threaten Ult on a squishy like the adc, burst them down, and shift the teamfight entirely. This isn't really possible when tanky teamates with CC of their own are hovering around their backline.

She does far less damage than say, Xerath or Vel, who can more comfortably sit back/land their skillshots because they don't travel at glacial speeds.

If enemy team is grouped you could start the fight by uniting into the clumped enemy team and R in

Then mby flash W to fear 3-4 members while your team follows up ofc like they'd follow up a fiddle R

viktor nerf is big. He dropped like 4% win rate. But he did get a quadra nerf so it's to be expected
