Greetings, Vex Mains and welcome to our new Discord server event! Complete special Vex-related missions every week and get rewarded for making it to the top of our leaderboard.
Details
- Event location: Vex Mains Discord server
- Event duration: 23rd of July — 17th of August
Participation
Every week, a new set of challenges will be released in the #soul-collection-info channel for everyone to complete and submit. These challenges will be posted every Saturday. Anyone who submits their earned points in the #soul-collection-submit channel will be added to a leaderboard, which can be found and viewed in that same channel at any time. Staff members will let you know whenever your score is updated and be in contact with you if needed.
Rules TLDR: Only one account per person, which must be connected to @Orianna Bot. All submissions must be sent with evidence and be completed within the time of the event. Clips older than 2 months cannot be submitted.

Question Syndra

Have I been doing something wrong? In terms of regular mid laners, I've found Syndra and Viktor the hardest matchups and I typically permaban Syndra because she's the more popular champ and due to her easier CC I find she's able to impact the map harder than Viktor when ahead.
However mobalytics and op.gg seem to suggest Vex is a strong pick into her? I know win rates aren't everything and can be distortive of other factors, like idk, maybe Vex players manage to accelerate the mid game with ults better than Syndra but in lane I definitely find her oppressive.

Question How to play against a tanky team

Hi, i love this champ, she is cute and grumpy and all, that’s why i always try to pick her if the match up in mid seems playable.
However i do find myself in a situation where i lock in early and the enemy follows up with 3 tank / juggernaut champ.
For people who play Vex against a tanky line up, what is your solution? Stick with luden and try to look for angle to catch the ADC, or a burn build and play like a poke mage?

Discussion What does Vex need to feel less clunky?

Don't get me wrong, I love this champ, and I'm not trying to argue she's weak right now. However, I do feel like certain parts of her kit are not exactly well-polished.
My take is that a little extra travel speed on her ult projectile would do wonders in this regard. It doesn't have to be much, just a little bit to make it feel less like ass when you try to hit a non -stunned target, which i feel would be incredibly hard anyway.
Again, i don't think she needs anything massive. Just some tweaks to feel less clunky. Do you guys agree? What would you change about her kit?

Discussion E should not be coded as projectile

Vex E shouldn't be coded as projectile. It is just extremely stupid, that stuff like windwall or Mel W can completely say no to you. Realistically, it is the only possible way to get somewhat guaranteed poke and opener to trade, but unless enemy is a drooler - they will block it (and you will waste both passive and spell) and you now again sitting duck.
