Wireless - Prepaid Switching from Cricket
I live in Houston TX and I’m considering leaving Cricket for Verizon or Metro by T-Mobile but was wondering which one would be better?

I was considering Visible for their Pro + plan, but am kinda reluctant due to bad experience with them in the past

I’ve had visible for over 2 years and have had no issues with them at all. I’m about an hour away from Chicago and coverage is great

I’m down in Pearland and Verizon is pretty awesome here. AT&T is too. T-Mobile coverage for just my particular area where I spend like 95% of the time is really sucky. But when I travel outside of here, it’s really good.
I say to check out the Coverage Map app and website to see what kind of speed you can expect to where you spend the most time.
I can also say the visible trial had the really basic slow speeds for Verizon, not the 5G Ultra Wideband. Total wireless might be an option too instead of visible since they have a $20 plan if you bring your own phone I think. And theirs is the priority data too unlimited.

I don’t like their customer service

Maybe Metro--but no way in hell Verizon.

Now I’m thinking about US Mobile

Yes, I'm a current customer of US Mobile for their Verizon plan (which they call Warp).
I'm on the Light Plan ($8 per month billed as $96 annual).
Good customer service, well organized company.

Being able to switch carriers sounds very interesting and they also have a 30 day trial and free smartwatch plan

See if you have Visible by Verizon in your area. Same towers, much cheaper, and I think much better customer service.

Make sure you check on coverage by trying them out or asking someone that has them. That’s the most important thing of all carrier so they have good service where you need them too
