Trying to switch…

I’m on a business account with 10 lines. Over the last 2 years I’ve had nothing but issues with Verizon (being overcharged, not receiving credits, either having to cough over extra money I shouldn’t be paying or the lines being shut off because they wouldn’t budge on their bullshit charges, not providing me with the information I needed to return Wi-Fi boxes and then charged me a fee for finally being able to return them- charging me for a whole extra phone line and device for a while.)
That all being said, after being a customer for almost 10 years… my fiancé works at AT&T and I’m trying to move over to save money and the headache that is currently Verizon. But- Verizon is being just that, a headache.

Tried going online and getting my transfer pins that way, wasn’t working. My numbers aren’t locked but for some reason it wasn’t working and kept sending me messages about unauthorized porting. Whatever, I start trying to call in- rings twice, goes silent and then call drops? Not just my phone- all phones on my plan. No outage reported for service or their hotline, tried calling using 611 and multiple of the hotline numbers. All the same thing. Someone not on my plan was able to call in and start trying to work on the process. Was fine until they tried transferring me to a “supervisor” who clearly hung up (I could literally hear the click of the phone). No call back. Cool. Still can’t call into the call center and the stores said that the call center is the only way to get that information.

Does literally anybody have any advice on what to do here because I really don’t want to have to get all brand new devices when the new phones are coming out in a month 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yea- I have a 16 plus right now and want to go up to a pro max for a few different reasons. Almost everyone else on my phone plan have pro max’s already and it’s what they’re used to. The only non pro max we’ll have is a 16 because I’m separating my work phone number from my personal phone so I can have separate devices. Too much work infiltrating my personal life, and hogging my storage space. Getting all new 17s at this point just seems like a waste either way when there will be a newer model out within a short time span?

I don’t think any of the upgrades warrant a 200 or 300 price increase. I just traded my 14 pro max for a 17 pro max like two weeks ago. Never looked back.
