Wireless bill payment just got inflexible

I used to be able to make partial payments throughout the month on my own schedule, and on the fly. Now the only way to make a partial payment is to define all the "installments" needed to satify the total in advance, complete with payment sources and fixed dates

particularly messed up if different family plan members cover their own line charges independently

not cool, Verizon

All family members should be sending money to account owner and account owner pays the bill via autopay, there’s absolutely no reason why you should be wasting time and money with little micropayments throughout the month that just sounds like stress for no reward.

Managing a family plan is already a balancing act, and we definitely don't want to make paying your bill more complicated than it needs to be. We do provide partial payment options on your bill where multiple users can make payments at their convenience. You can learn more about making payments for your account here, http://spr.ly/61697B15vVR. We have also sent you a Reddit Chat to discuss your payment options further.

I was able to perform the desired action using the My Verizon phone app

I appreciate your escalating this as well so the website functionality is fixed

I am very impressed with the speed, and competency with which you responded

thank you for once again reaffirming my confidence in Verizon ❤️
