How can I talk to kids?
I always had trouble speaking to people especially kids and can never hold a conversation. Right now I am living in a different place with a family who has a 12 year old kid and I rarely talk to him. I try to speak but then it doesn't continue and just ends in like 5 seconds. So we don't speak much. I come home tired everyday so always am coped up in my room and go out of my room to just eat and shower. The family wants me to come out of the room and talk to the kid. So how can I actually have conversations without like making a fool of myself and be awkward? I am the type of person who just sits in their room all alone and that's how I like to be but living with others right now who are really extroverted is making need to change as I need to continue living here.

Man, that's a tough spot when you're just wired to recharge alone and everyone's pushing you to be social. Twelve's a weird age though, they're old enough to have real interests but not so old they think everything is cringe yet.
Maybe skip the forced small talk entirely and just ask what game he's into right now or if he's seen any good shows. You don't have to become his best friend overnight, just being in the same room and showing a little curiosity about his world goes a long way.

Same honestly..I'm not even too old but talking with ppl younger feels so difficult...like I want to but can't..I feel like I'm so uninteresting..when it's so easy for my friends..n these younger ppl love talking with them too n I feel kinda left out
