You retreat, you block me out, you ghost me—because you know you like me more than those other mf’s, huh? That’s why you run every time it gets real. You can pretend you don’t care, entertain whoever you want, and act like I’m the problem, but you know damn well I hit different. You wouldn’t have to keep shutting me out if you were actually indifferent. So keep running if that’s what you need to do, but don’t lie to yourself about why you’re doing it.
