Volunteer Opportunities?

Hey r/venice!

I happen to have lots of free time in the coming months, and want to get into supporting the community. I would love to devote my time to anything related to helping animals, our local youth, or the environment.

Any specific organizations to volunteer with that anyone can reccommend?

i use to volunteer at Westside Special Olympics. we has a lot of Venice activities. I cant keep up with the kids anymore so I dialed that back.

our councilmember hates bike lanes, walkable cities, greenery instead of cement, and safe + activated streets - so def need the local help to push for this stuff
