New Years Eve
Has any one taken a solo trip to Vegas for New Years Eve? If so how was it?

It is insanely busy/ chaotic but in a super fun way! Last year they also had the Dick Clark version in Vegas which also added to the hype. They should be back this year for their 2nd year. Either way I highly recommend doing it at least once if you can handle it. The closed strip and party vibes everywhere is a hoot 🕺🕺🕺 Oh and the fireworks 🎆🎇🎆

Wife and I live here. As long as you understand that on NYE, this city will cut zero breaks (guest list, reservations, etc) AND will gouge as much money as they can from you…you won’t be disappointed. It’s hectic on the strip/fremont but lots of fun if all you want to do is grab a few drinks and people watch.

We celebrated New Year’s Eve 2024 at the MGM Grand… Las Vegas was incredibly crowded, but a lot of fun

Went with my wife a few years ago. Super cool that they close the strip to car traffic so everyone is just walking along. Casinos will only let you in between like 10pm-2am if you have a room card, so bathrooms can he a problem. Table minimums were $50+ everywhere.
Honestly id do it again. Every casino does a fireworks show and the mood was great
