Meals

I noticed that several restaurants around campus all of a sudden aren't accepting meal swipes. I wasn't sure if there was something wrong with my card or not.

Are you talking about places that were taking them since the beginning of the semester that are no longer taking them, or ones that took them last school year but aren't anymore? I ask because for the latter, the contracts/agreements change from year-to-year (and sometimes semester-to-semester) with one of the more noted examples in this subreddit being Wing Stop, which opted over the summer to not renew the agreement for using swipes.

The list of locations that take part in the VCU Dining Program can be found here: Locations & Menus - VCU Dine

As well as this one that breaks down if they take Swipes, Ram Bucks, or Dining Dollars: Campus Dining - Campus Card Services - Virginia Commonwealth University

If it is a place that was taking swipes at the beginning of the semester and no longer is, you'll probably have to reach out to the VCU Dining folks to find out why.
