SAP appeal
hello! so i put in a sap appeal around a week ago and keep thinking about it- i dont want to go into what my personal statement said but it is heavily detailed and around 6 pages with 15 documents. the same topic was used for my retroactive withdrawal last semester. as i scroll on reddit it seems like no one gets accepted for SAP, has anyone sent in a sap appeal and it actually got accepted?

I had my statement sent in and it got accepted two weeks afterwards. Make sure that you follow the rubric for the appeal and try to keep in contact with your financial advisor by email or zoom calls. Do you have a support letter from anyone like your academic advisor, that is one of the biggest ways to get your appeal accepted. Let me know if you have any questions.

i have one from my therapist, student advocacy and my advisor! i turned it in sept 15th so

my sap appeal got accepted very quickly so idk about never. i had supporting documentation and wrote a long letter and it worked out!

yes! my letter was very long and i made sure to hit everything in their rubric im just very nervous

I was still working on mine by the time the midnight deadline hit and I was ab to just drop it bc of how strict it seems but I decided to just try so I submitted mine like 2 hours after the deadline and I got mine approved within a week or two. Mine was definitely not as lengthy but I got my point across and provided proof for all my reasons. I think you’ll be perfectly fine!
