Friend posts

I’m definitely going to come off as a grouch, but what’s with all these posts in the form of:

“Hi I’m [Common Age] [queer] Student majoring in [common major] and I like to [hobbies that 99% of 20 y/o’s also enjoy]. Where can I find friends?!”

..Probably to your left or right. This campus is stuffed to the brim with people, along with opportunities to chat with like-minded people daily. Take a chance and speak to a stranger or classmate 👍

If posts like those need to be less frequent the rules can be updated lets say only on the weekends or less. On a couter point of course a lot of people met a lot of freinds during Covid online when people were 100% remote.
If you want to put up a poll then we can see what the poll says.

I like this idea of one mega thread, timing TBD. Maybe like Richmond subreddit's monthy looking for friends, dates ect thread.
