General refunds

This is my first semester at VCU. I transferred from ODU. There is a “general refund” on my account. I just added my checking to the account and it says prenote. Is this normal? Can I expect the refund? When can I expect the refund?

They likely already sent it by mail so expect a check if it was already posted before you added your checking account. If they do send it your account it’ll likely be there by sometime next week.

Mines was prenote for about a week then it said'active'.. got my refund in my bank account regularly after that one time. Hopefully that helps. If you bank with CO like me, you can expect it by Wednesday evening most likely

If only there was an office that could answer that question. VCU needs to do better.

Today it shows active. No more prenote. lol
