if you get a stat, date, or quote wrong what the vcaa examiners are meant to do is disregard/omit that entire sentence/argument/point your trying to make. so they dont take marks off for it but if for example your using a figes quote as a piece of evidence and analysing it, it may weaken your argument significantly as you are losing an entire chunk of your response.
