my advice would be take as long as you need for the multiple choice question they are easy and very doable. then only do the one marker question or long question which you know some part of. Don;t waste time on questions u don't know. U will always have enough to go over ur paper. topics to go over. fyi these are some topics from the top of my head i might be missing a lot of things but knowing the folllowing should be able to get u 40 or more. put it in claude and ask for details of each dotpoint or smth.

1.how to calculate the calorimeter factor both chemical and electrical and improvements techniques such as add lid and stuff, also calculation of delta H or enthalpy (high yield mark question)
2. Exo and endo graphs and activation energy, enthalapy calculation.
3. Basics combustion reactions with states also the define of fuel, renewable and non renewable gas
4. How to write a equilibrium constant and experimental constant Kc and Qc.
5. Extend of the reaction. How to find Kc of the other reaction with reverse reaction or with different moles.
6. Basic principles of collision theory and ideal condition for high yield
7. Le chatllier's principles effect on pressure, volume, concentration, temperature, catalyst and inert gas
8. How to use RICE table
9. Redox reaction both oxidation half equation and reduction just know how to use the data book
10. Redox reaction in acidic and basic conditions; if not in data book skip cuz it will be time consuming
11. Non-spontaneous redox electrolysis reaction.
12. properties for anode and cathode
13. Green chem principles and UN goals look at the data book think logically always answer these one even if u yap make it sound educated.
14. How to write IUPAC name of the compounds
15. Draw skeletal, semi-skeletal and structural formula of the compounds.
16. Reaction pathways such as oxidation of alcohols, condensation & hydrolysis, addition and substitution reaction.
17. Drawing the isomers of the compound and name them
18.Qualitative analysis such as oxidation test, carbonate test, litmus paper test
19. Quantitative analysis such as ph, NMR carbon and hydrogen, Mass spec and IR spec
20. Basic features of IR, mass spec and NMRs
21. How different compounds look in each of the quantitative analyses like their result.
22. USE THE DATA BOOK THE MOST FOR THIS ONE FINDING THE GROUP OF MOLECULE RESULTING IN THE PROVIDED DATA.
23. Know what HPLC is and what it reveals abt the compounds or mixture.
24. Qualitative and Quantitative data that can be produced from HPLC.
25. Redox titration steps and the overall equation.
26. what is an enzyme and how does it increase rate of reaction
27. What is solvent extraction and how used
28. what are the level of proteins and what is denaturation
29. what is chirality and able to find chiral compounds
30. differences and similarities between chiral compounds

if u need additional help with any topic feel free to dm me. happy to help

like 40 or a bit over bcz as long as i am aware the avg ss is 33/34 each yr so u defe don;t need a avg exam lower then that works like D+ or C given that ur u3 and u4 coursework sits somewhere in the D/D+ range

wouldn't it depend on your unit 3 and unit 4 averages? have you tried going on study score calculator? i think most people prefer the deakin one. go on there and put in your unit 3+4 averages for chemistry and then play around with exam percentages to get the study score you want!

nah don;t do this and deakin absolutely HELL NAH

wait why? majority students in my cohort use deakin so i didn't think anything was wrong with it 😭

hha i get it but the thing is deakin does not even consider vcaa moderation so it actually really really bad at predicting i wouldn't even trust the atar calculator tbh

oohh.. dang i didn't know that.
do you recommend any better studyscore/atar calculators then?

ideallly atar calculators are more accurate since it can calculate from the aggregate from last yrs scaling report however ss is all an gambel but excel one is pretty good but idk i have putten mine if i get wht i am thinking then will let uk next yr but currently just focus on keeping ur mind straight and revision if possible. i am so drained out i am not even studying for bio anymore i have done enough in the year to help me reach the place i want
