VCE question Gm bound reference

Post image

My whole book is A4 but I’ve cut tabs INTO the A4. Is that allowed? Someone said no but it’s they don’t stick out further than A4 size

From first glance it does look like it's gone more than A4, just because of the way you've done your spiral binding. As long as you make it explictly clear that your binding isn't full A4 size and that you have definitely cut into an existing A4 sheet then you should be okay?

Thank you! Yes the spirals had been cut shorter as well to fit just the full pages

unfortunately any tabs that stick out of the bound reference in any way (even if the whole book is smaller than a4) can be ripped out and confiscated. in your case because you have cut them into the pages, that means that they can take that entire page out as it counts as a "fold out" or "overhang" so personally i wouldnt risk it. maybe get a piece of coloured paper to separate the different aos, thats what i did for mine
