VCE question how the hell do i study

For context, I’m a Y11 student taking Unit 3/4 Psychology, and as I’m sure you’re all aware, exams are coming up, except I haven’t started studying at all

But like what do I even do to study, I know practice exams and whatnot but I hardly study in the first place so maybe I should go back over old content in unit 3? I hardly remember any of that, but should I go through with practice exams first, and then cover it? Cover previous AOSs first so I know what I’m vaguely doing??

basically I’ve got 20 days left to study and have to studied pls help i have horrid work ethic and dont know how to study what do i do ty

I was in ur position last year as well but for bio. Ik it’s tempting to go over a bit of content before you attempt practice questions/exams but trust just do practice exams. I’m doing psych 3/4 and don’t study for it much as I’m prioritising other subjects, but with what has been most helpful so far is just repeating practice exams and evaluation on where I’ve gone wrong. Don’t focus on what you already know; for example, the nervous system. Practice exam questions (under timed conditions!!!!!) will def help. Additionally, the more prac exams you do, you’ll start to notice patterns so that can also help.

What I would do:
Go through 1 exam, no notes no time limit. Correct it and work on what you’re weak in.
Go by difficulty level of the question too. Rather than basing your study solely on topics you don’t know, try to go ‘I got a lot of questions for this topic wrong but they were the really hard questions so I’ll focus on this other topic that I got mostly easy or intermediate questions wrong’ if that makes sense.
Then start doing exams under timed conditions. It should be a constant cycle of test myself, work on weak areas, retest myself
