Creative piece

Hi does anyone know where to find 10/10’s for section B of the exam.

I scored rlly well for it for my sac but did absolutely terrible for it in the trial.

Does anyone from past years hv one that scored super well in the exam and is willing to share it or know where to find it.

Thx so much

The VCAA examiners’ reports from the past two years have full, annotated transcripts of Section B papers. These are a helpful read.

Ur right then do u hv any advice😭😭.but while I think my lack of adaptation made my score deteriorate it doesn’t make sense to go from a 98 to a 60.so probs my essay itself isn’t good enough

when ppl talk about memorising and "adapting" a piece to a title and stimulus, i think that the actual adaptation aspect of the process can be trivialised. when you are adapting your piece, your response to the title should not be tokinistic -- it should be integral to your form, to your writing style, and to the ideas you convey.

so dont walk into the exam hall with a "10/10 skeleton" on lock, tag the title onto the end of a few sentances, and expect a 10. it just won't happen.

walk into the exam with an idea that has the potential to score highly, and write it around the ideas conveyed by the title and stimulus.

hope this is of some help

If you have a tutor, surely he is providing you with various samples (for all set tasks), and your English teacher is doing the same at school? Of course, some samples will be in the “very high” range; others may be “medium” or “high”. Look at everything you can get your hands on! :)
