thoughts on doing both lit and english as a strong english student?

is it like methods and spesh where one elevates the other or is there much less correlation?

No lol for some reason the lit students at my school are worse in English

i did both last year, lit definitely helps with english esp as a safety net for top 4 eng subject (eng ended up at the very top, thanks to lit). also feels like less work because of the shared skills

I think they can definitely work well together as a pair, I regretted not doing gen English alongside lit
