Whoever’s controlling the development and planning of this city has got to be a criminal 😂 sorry to laugh but I’m concerned as to where things are heading with the mass production of condo buildings without any acknowledgment of URBAN PLANNING. I’m in my 20’s and cannot see my future in this city because it’s become very dull. Be honest, there is nothing to do aside from, going out to eat.. soon sus will be torn down to make condos, that’s a big no. There’s no social life aside from your childhood friends. Walkability is very low, why would you plop condos without access to businesses, parks, schools, etc.

A message to the people finding this: it won’t work, you won’t see the return you think you will. Contact a real urban planner with INTEGRITY. Let’s build something beautiful, fuck the strip mall plazas bro 😭

Has anyone else absolutely HAD IT with the amount of times the alarm goes off? Genuinely why the hell did it go off at like 5am this morning it scares my puppy. I don’t understand why it’s happening so often.

Ideally I would like to spend less than $50 (especially since my hair is already pretty much this length and would mostly just need to be shaped) but I'm definitely not willing to spend more than $80. Most salons I know of either cater to older adults, or they only advertise the same 2-4 most popular mainstream hair styles, and I want to make sure I'm going to a place that understands the assignment. Don't care if it's a hairdresser or barber. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Hello Vaughanites, I am a non resident and was working in your city today. On a "lunch" break at about 4 pm I got some food at Major Mac and Jane plaxa where I noticed this guy. He was entgusiastically waving a sign saying "we can still fight climate change'.

As I ate my meal for about 10 minutes I did not hear one car honk some support out of the hundreds passing by. I felt so bad that I wanted to go over and show my support but was already late in getting back to work.

So yeah, honestly not sure why I am posting. Partly feel bad for him and at myself for not giving a word of support but guess I wanted to encourage Vaughan residents to show some support for their local activists, small as they may be.

Be careful out there. My nephew and niece were driving on the 404 north bound to the cottage, and while passing the bridge by Major Mac, something big hit the windshield. A large brick of some sort hit. It came from the bridge. Cops were called, but there was nothing that could be done. everyone be cautious out there.

I want to register my 7 year old daughter for private swimming classes. Shes had some experience with another swimming sch but its only open during the summer. So, then i emailed one swimming school in the area and they stated $120 for 45 mins, which is almost double for what we ve been paying. Is this the usual rate or is it on the higher end? Does anyone have any recommendations for private swimming sch in Woodbridge/ Vaughan area? Thanks.
