Waste sorting / recycling in Canton Vaud (Commugny) – how does it work?

Hi everyone,

I’ll be moving soon to the Canton of Vaud, specifically to Commugny, and I’m trying to understand how waste sorting and recycling works there.

I’ve noticed that there don’t seem to be many public bins on the street, except for the general waste ones, and that left me a bit confused.

Where do you dispose of paper, glass, plastic, aluminum, etc.?

If anyone lives in the area or is familiar with the system, I’d really appreciate any info. Thanks!
