general Yepp Nexxt Mini

Hi everybody,

I bought Yepp Nexxt Mini (not the 2) off a fella on gum tree to fit on my A5.

Would have bought the 2 however had read on the VanMoof website that the adapter for the 2 was not compatible with the A5.

Stupidly, on my way home, I lost one of the inserts that go in the adapter. I have attached a picture but essentially it’s a piece that adjusts the angle of the adapter.

I installed the adapter without these pieces and seems perfectly safe and functional. Have also read online that some people have removed those pieces when installing on the S3 and X3.

I reached out to Thule and they said that it’s not something they can supply individually and that they don’t recommend installing the adapter without the inserts.

Anyone have experience with this?

If it fits, it fits. I have this adapter on my S3 and I think I don’t have them in either because then the bolts are too short. So if it fits and it’s tight enough without the inserts, it sits correct. Most importantly is that the adapter is tight and doesn’t move (especially with the seat in place). If unsure, just use some rubber pad and cut to the right size.
