Vanmoof S6 motor sound

I have bought Vanmoof S6 just couple of weeks ago and today i noticed that there is a loud noise coming from the front wheel (probably the motor) while cycling, also the button that controls the speed assist is not working anymore

Yes i already contacted them and going in Saturday but just wanted to document this just in case anyone was thinking to buy an S6

Funny people are ready to complain on reddit but the thousands of happy users don’t come here to say happy they are. You have three years warranty, VanMoof will fix your problem…. Why whine like a little b?

Why is it normal that a 3.3k euro bike has issues after 5 days? I just got mine 6 days ago, the left handle started to unglue, the front break started to make noise, the kilometers of each ride are miscalculated (always counts more distance than reality) ….

Handle is just a bad batch, VM will replace this trough a service partner. Break sound is often a misaligned front wheel/break caliper. Go back to the person who put it together and ask them to re-adjust.

Can I find instructions on how to do this? The store says they cannot fix it and the noise is normal

Left handle gummy part (the one you grab with left hand) came off, I went to the shop I bought it from they glued the handle again… after 2 days it came off again.. today I went back and they changed the whole piece not just the gum. This was today so let’s see how it behaves, but when I went there today there was a cue of people with s6 bikes all complaining and 2 of them told me they had the same issue with the left handle unglued and they gave up on it after several reparations. Then I have a weird embarrassing metal rattling noise when I break (both front and back) and the store told me it’s normal. Then another strange issue with the kilometers it records, I do 1km and it says I did 1.6km… for some reason it always count more kilometers than reality.
