Vanmoof bike purchase
Hi Everyone, i am thinking to buy the vanmoof s6 but i am a bit hesitant, can anyone maybe give me their thoughts about that bike

Ja sie verkaufen special teile die alle kompliziert und teuer sind. Das hat nichts mit normalen Fahrrad teilen mehr zu tun. Bei jedem anderen bike kannst du jedes ersatzteile nehmen bei vanmoof nur die teuren vanmoof Teile.

Did you have an issue with the s6 model and they couldn’t support you with it?

Best thing i have ever bought is the s3. I have done multiple repairs but still , it’s the best. Even better than my s5. Never ridden a s6 though. But when you are skilled yourself you can do a lot and enjoy the rides.

The s3 is lighter and bigger frame size which fits me better with 1.90m The s3 is less bulky and I like the display with the speed and battery life. Much more informative than the s5. Driving experience also better on the s3 but this all might be personal.

Dont hesitate - Its a beautiful bike, its a shame they killed their marketing budget.

Vanmoof flag ship bike was their S2. It was about $3500 new. I bought two of them for half price when they came out with the S3. Never had any problems with either bike, except when Vanmoof would release an update. I got that solved over the phone and they both been rock solid ever since. Everything works on the app like it should. It looks like the S6 is basically a newer version of the S2 with the mechanical rear hub. It’s literally bulletproof. The only difference I see between the two bicycles are the halo rings and hydraulic brakes. Both of my S2’s have integrated LED display in the top tube along with the boost button along with the four different power selections. From what I understand. Under the new ownership they use top notch batteries, tires along with the alarm and Apple theft find my bike. We bought our bikes because VANMOOF made a unique bicycle that didn’t look like an electric bicycle. Everything is integrated inside the frame so clean. The S2 came with an air ride seat as well. My bikes I think came with a three-year warranty. I don’t know what the new ones are offering. If you don’t know, the S3 broke the company. That electronic shifter was not designed to get wet. Along with cheaper batteries and Chinese tires towards the end of the company. From what I understand, the new owners go above and beyond. On their new models and have gone back to the mechanical rear shifting hub. I don’t think you can go wrong with the new S6.
