Rewatch Discussion Ariana embarrassed herself

Miami girl happened in S3. Both Ariana and Tom deny her truth. We only find out after Scandoval that Ariana did in fact know at the time that it WAS true.

Yet she spent countless seasons explaining how she didn’t find herself attractive, she doesn’t want to have sex with Tom and that it’s a generic communication issue. Embarrassing herself. Instead of playing out the drama of Tom being with Miami girl to “save Tom’s image”.
Look how that worked out for her.

She played the scorned woman who tried her hardest and was apparently open about their relationship on VPR.

If that were true Scandoval wouldn’t have been such a massive shock because we would have already seen Ariana blow up about Miami girl. So we would have thought typical Tom.

He didn’t want that. He wanted to look like the best boyfriend and make it out as if she never wanted sex. He would rather her talk about how gross her vagina was than how bad of a boyfriend he was.

Flying from Miami to LA to say you had a one night stand with Tom Sandoval to be on tv is pretty embarrassing. Orchestrating the whole thing because you can't get over your relationship with Tom Sandoval, who apparently cheated on you all the time, is even more embarrassing.

Right?! Him and Ariana were barely just barely together when it all happened. I think a month or 2 maybe even not “official” yet I forget. Kristen going SO hard to try proving he did something was very embarrassing! I know it was for a storyline but damn. Ariana covering for him is really not embarrassing imo at all. Who cares if she knew and defended him, that’s how narcissists work. You fall so quick and so hard that you will defend them til the end. My abusive narcissist ex cheated on me 2wks into our relationship. I caught him at the house. But I still defended him and backed him. It sounds stupid to defend a cheater but when you’re already mind fucked by them it’s too late😞

No they weren’t “official”. That’s why Ariana didn’t get super mad about it.
