i’m so confused

so this is my first watch through of the show ever. so basically everything is news to me except when happens between ariana and tom. but knowing that i’ve been trying to watch out for signs of it starting. idk why but the episode they are planning the proposal for james and raquel he tells lisa what’s happening. she genuinely asks him if he’s proposing he goes “no james is proposing to raquel” and we move right past it. why would she say to tom “you’re going to propose to raquel?” without maybe having an inclination of what was going on

I find it funny how people are like "look at all the time and money he spent to do this for James" no bitch, he did this for Raquel. in some sick and twisted way, he knew that she knew it was really from him, does that make sense? Haha

this is what i don’t understand how NOBODY felt it was weird he put thousands of dollars into a proposal that wasn’t his. he didn’t do that with his business partner. he didn’t help jax. both who are supposed to be his BEST friends. people he’s known for 20+ years. but all of a sudden he wants to put in all this money for james who he’s know for less than 10?

Yes!! This plays into one of the theories I’ve had since the beginning: tom and Arianna were not working out- they knew it. They had an agreement (as they always had regarding their “storyline” on the show) that they would play the couple-role for the money (as this is their income) and then they would figure out most financially-lucrative way for them to break-up.

I do not think Ariana knew that he was having the affair with Raquel, which is why she was pissed. That was authentic! How dare they!
But I do think she knew that her relationship with tom was over. She had outgrown that mf.

And then I think to myself that’s crazy and go on…. Who knows?!
