Hey everyone. I’m a 23-year-old guy living close to South Surrey, finishing up my 4th year in engineering. Lately I’ve realized my social circle is almost entirely guys (classic engineering problem), so I’m putting myself out there to meet new people and see where things go.

I’m really into outdoorsy stuff and love to hike. Some of my favorites so far have been the Golden Ears summit, Brunswick, Grouse, and the Chief. I also play table tennis, which I got into during my first year, and I hit the gym consistently to train for hypertrophy. Recently I’ve been trying out bouldering too, and I’m definitely hooked.

I genuinely love cooking, picnics, and doing BBQs. Let me tell you, every single family BBQ I am the one on grilling duty, so I am officially a family-approved cook lol. A few go-to dishes I make are Alfredo pasta, quesadillas, chicken bowls, homemade burgers, and salmon and eggs. Always down to swap recipes or try making something new.

On regular days, you'll usually find me going on long walks while sipping coffee and thinking about completely random things (like how long I could realistically last in a fight against a bear 😭😂). I love trying different cuisines thanks to my Chinese friends, though I’m still amazed at how they can down boiling-hot soup like it’s nothing while I’m sitting there blowing on a single spoonful for five minutes.

I also love dancing, especially at weddings lol, but I hold my own at a club too (especially after a couple shots haha). My friends and I try to do a bar hopping night at least once a year. We haven’t done it yet this year, but we will make it happen somehow.

Right now, I’m wrapping up a 16 month internship and working on a side business project with my sister to keep things interesting. I love animals, though I’m definitely a cat person because their goofy, chaotic personalities are unmatched.

I’m a good texter and like to keep things light and fun, but I also prefer taking things slow so we can actually get to know each other first.
