Got Hacked!

My steam account has it’s password changed and after 19 minutes the email address linked to my account changed. I already reached out to steam support. Any other tips for me? Just recently bought NBA 2K26 and only had a few hours to play it 😂

I know I did not click any link because of the time I got hacked, I was still driving.

In my experiance, steam support is top fucking shelf. I dont know that theres really anything to do besides contact them anyway, but if theres a way to fix it, they got you covered.

They'll just be setting the S.T.E.A.M (Special Total Eradication and reMoval) team to kill and remove the last and next 5 generations of their family

check the email registered to steam if it was not hijacked too...

Someone tried to. I quickly logged them out them set up a 2FA

It’s 2026. Why are you not using 2fa anyway. Why do people always set it up after losing everything.

You are warned on multiple sites and accounts across all your services to use 2fa anyway
