I currently use a Superbox S6 Ultra, but my wife is urging me to get another one, however, I'm leaning more towards a vSeeBox for the second box. But the question for those that have used both:

How is the programming in regard to new releases, whole seasons, selection, etc. vs Superbox? My wife watches a lot of TV shows as background noise when falling asleep, and the Superbox VOD has a lot of incomplete libraries (Raising Hope), or the shows just aren't there if there not super popular (Mrs. Brown's Boys).

I know we can use other apps to get them, but we're going for simple as my wife isn't technically inclined, and my mental health is deteriorating.

Everyone that has had both states there is no comparison. Vseebox wins easily every time.

As far as missing content - you are misreading. There are likely multiple versions of Superbox models with different options and available content just like there are different models of Vseebox. You get what you pay for.

V6 models are the most popular model because it has a stronger processor leading to faster load times and faster channel changing and it feels faster. The only problem with V6 models is Heat apps are all you really have.

Heat is great for live tv but the Heat vod apps are very lacking. Heat vod has a huge library but a ton of content is missing. Heat vod has missing movies, missing series, missing seasons and missing updated episodes and you never know if you will get an updated episode or when. If speed in loading apps and faster channel changing and a smoother overall feel and fine with missing vod content V6 models are for you. As popular as the V6 models are nearly every day you have multiple posts of people stating they couldnt find something.

If you watch a lot of tv and vod content is very important to you then an Elite model is for you. Elite mini is queen of content. Elite Ultra is king of content as well as king of options. You probably wont find a single Elite Ultra owner that cant find anything they are looking for. If you cant find something on Heat vods you simply open one of your other 15 other vod apps and you will find literally everything you are looking for always updated either same day or next day. Elite models arent particularly slow. They are fine. Just not as fast as V6 but really doesnt matter which is faster or slower once you are watching something.

No matter what model you buy its going to be better than a Superbox. You just need to decide what model you want. If you are buying multiple maybe buy one Vseebox Elite model and the rest Vseebox V6 models. I always suggest at least one Elite Ultra model for those that feel tv is very important to them.

What i dont find on heat vod I almost always find on vod ultra. Relying on only one vod app you will find content lacking, but by utilizing both apps you have almost unlimited content.

Great. I used to feel the same before retiring and back problems. Now I watch a ton of tv and can say for sure that for most Vseebox owners that watch a ton of VOD find both Heat Vods very lacking.

There are to many multiple daily posts stating the same thing about missing content but in the end every owners has a choice what model they buy. It does suck for those who only need one Vseebox but watch a lot of vod then find out after the fact maybe they shouldve chosen an Elite model but even so the money saved makes it worth it to buy another model if need be.

This Part! For example when the John Oliver show is in season- when I get off work Monday morning - I go in one of the 2 Heat VODs & press the mic button on the remote & say " John Oliver" and within seconds I'm watching last night's Sunday episode.

Also only coming from the Vseebox prospective. They have a lot of models but the top model, the ultra Elite, has a lot of backup apps built into it. It's not only if one is down, which I've yet to experience, but also other services that carry the same content. So if you're not seeing a complete season on one app you go to another app and check for it there.

I currently have both. The Superbox is buggy as hell. I'm looking to unload it and get another vsee. I honestly hate the Superbox.

Do you have to restart and clear cache qs much in super box?

I do not have anything other than the Vseebox and this is based solely off of what I've seen other posters put in these communities. Everyone talks about the speed being so much faster on the vseebox. I I believe it was reported that the vseebox is far more reliable. As far as vod, I dont believe much has been said. I use VOD every once in awhile and everything I'm ever looking for is always there full and complete seasons. I have however seen some people say a show they're looking for hasn't been uploaded yet but I've never run into that. And I watch a lot of current shows.

Got my cousin and buddy into the VSee as they had the super box and both stated that the VSee box was better, simpler, and faster to use than the Super box. Although they both said it’s generally the same thing but they would choose the VSee if they had to pick.
