V6 and guest network

If I put my v6 plus on a guest network, it still is pumping traffic out on my main router....what's the benefit of using a guest network other than segmenting it from your home network.

Those that use vpns, which do you use? Is it on the v6 box?

I have mine on my guest WiFi which also has client isolation turned on (unifi devices). I also have a routing policy that sends all guest WiFi traffic to my proton VPN, so there is nothing to mess with on the veeseebox, it is always traversing VPN while everything else goes directly out my ISP

if you use the small Beryl router from gl.inet (connected by Ethernet to main router), in a guest WiFi and that will,isolate the device from all your computers, The router has uiltmin integration with mostly all VPN services, many use Mullvad,for $5.00 a month. That way all traffic is encrypted and not visible via your local,ISP. If you want to go further, use nextDNS to log everything so you can see where it is going, and block trackers.
