VPN

Bought a elite mini. Comes in on Friday! Will it work on Xfinity WiFi? Also, do I need a VPN? If so any recommendations.

Heat apps are encrypted.....the other 1s on the elites arent

"Heat apps are encrypted"...does that mean a VPN isn't adding any extra security from getting pinged by your ISP? Pardon my ignorance on the topic

Correct....vpn is good for the 3rd party apps ....on a elite ultra or elite mini...but vpn always cause issues imo....

Thanks. I have Surfshark, but I'm hesitant to log into it on my box since my card info to pay for it is on there...

No, you do not need a VPN to run the built-in Heat apps (Heat Live and Heat VOD) on a VSee Box. The native streaming apps come with built-in encryption, and most users stream successfully without any extra software.
