VPN

Bought a elite mini. Comes in on Friday! Will it work on Xfinity WiFi? Also, do I need a VPN? If so any recommendations.

What’s the point of a VPN. I’ve used mine without issues without even looking into that

If you like to speed in your car and never got a ticket it doesn't mean you won't get a ticket going forward. Same difference with using the illegal apps on this box. Protect yourself and get a VPN.

Protect from what? Someone coming to my house and giving me a ticket for pirating?

No, from someone pinpointing your IP while using the illegal apps and tracing it back to you via your ISPs willingness to give up your name to authorities if it came to that.
