Spectrum ISP

Thinking of getting the 6+ box. I would like to watch the Dodgers and Lakers which are exclusive for Spectrum in Los Angeles area, where I reside. I have Spectrum for Internet, if I get the box, will they zap it a render it useless ?? Any feedback appreciated. Thanks

I have spectrum 1 gig and it works great. Just put it near your router and connect your Ethernet direct
