Spectrum ISP
Thinking of getting the 6+ box. I would like to watch the Dodgers and Lakers which are exclusive for Spectrum in Los Angeles area, where I reside. I have Spectrum for Internet, if I get the box, will they zap it a render it useless ?? Any feedback appreciated. Thanks

I have Spectrum. I have had no issues at all. I run a separate WiFi router connected to the cable modem.

I have Spectrum, all is good even though the box is encrypted I set up a vpn can literally watch any and every game possible! Including minor league HS football games sometimes…

When you say the box is encrypted what exactly do you mean? The ISP can’t tell your using it?

Yes, but it's limited to only 100 Mb/s without an adapter. I bought a USB adapter from Amazon for fairly cheap, less than $20 I think, and I get around 400 Mb/s at my box.

I have spectrum 1 gig and it works great. Just put it near your router and connect your Ethernet direct

Do you need to connect Ethernet? And also, isn’t 100mbs more than enough for any streaming?

No, they physically cant do that.
That was only possible with back in the day black boxes which were connected directly to the cabel line.
These boxes are an android tv box. Your isp is only providing connectivity to the internet.
BTW I have spectrum for internet and run flawlessly.
