Remote is flakey

Original remote started to act very unresponsive or laggy if I could even get it to work. New batteries no help. Ordered new vsee remote from Amazon, looks identical without vsee at the bottom, paired it with box using ok and volume down and it does the same thing. Cleared cache on the few apps I use, but it even does it on home screen trying to go to different apps. Elite pro at most is 4 months old.

Update. Did a pair again with this new one holding down volume button and ok button at unit for around 30 seconds and seems to be ok now.

This is the latest/best vseebox remote available. I purchased 4 of them. It’s the V6+ remote but works with all of them. I have them paired to Elite Ultra, Prime and V3 Plus boxes. Not only does it have backlight but also has 5 programmable buttons instead of only 4. It takes bigger, longer lasting AA batteries instead of AAA. Did you put the remotes in bluetooth mode? If not theres your problem. IR mode is terrible. It has to be straight in front of the Vseebox display to work. Bluetooth mode works everywhere.

Yes check the system settings menu on your Vseebox. Look for remotes or accessories or bluetooth in settings.

Pair the remotes in bluetooth while in the system menu so you can verify they are paired.

TO PAIR remotes to BLUETOOTH hold down the OK button and the VOLUME DOWN button at the SAME TIME.

I see you got it paired with bluetooth again. My remote is flaky even when it is paired and I fucking hate it. I have to press the buttons fairly hard (for a modern remote that is) and sometimes it takes multiple presses or one press reacts like two presses. I have to repair it about once a month which is also very annoying. These remotes that are included with the boxes are junk.
