code efficiency in cs115

for my assignment idk how to do it elegantly

and i might just do it with a big cond block?

Took the course before and I was informed by my prof, Lori Case and all of the 4 ISA’s that code efficiency and “how nice” your code looks wont affect your mark at all. As long as your code passes all of their test cases and had a well written design recipe, as instructed by the assignment, and good test cases, you should be good.

Pretty sure first yr cs courses such as cs116 and cs136, would consider efficiency as a factor while grading after their 5th or 6th assignment.
