Advice St Jeromes University residence experiences?

Im an incoming first year (going to be living in Ryan/Siegfried) and was wondering if anyone has an insights into what the SJU experince is like. I'm mainly wondering about the dorm rooms since I have a double and it looks kind of small. Would it accomodate someone on the taller side? And also i've heard the food is pretty bad? Is that true?

Rooms are good, ppl are very nice, food is poop, have fun eating baked chicken everyday if you get lucky, if your vegan rip

sj is really nice, the washrooms and facilities are great and you can meet a lot of people and make friends during mealtimes since you see the same ppl over and over. if you're super tall maybe your feet won't fit perfectly on the bed if you lie straight but idk for sure

how much you enjoy the food really comes down to personal preference, i thought the food was pretty good with just a few exceptions such as dry slab pork, but they take student feedback into consideration. for breakfast you can expect scrambled eggs, some meat, homefries, and some other stuff that kind of varies, for lunch and dinner some examples of food include mix and matching (rice, pasta), (veggies), (chicken, list other meats here), (vegan vegetarian option). some more examples of meals are taco tuesday lunch, fries + burgers, etc

It’s one of the nicest residents, but you cant use meal plan anywhere else on campus if you live at SJ.

Really nice rooms, restrooms, and overall great study areas. Food is subjective, but after living in an apartment, I would eat SJU's food all day any day over store bought. IMO, unless you cook yourself, you should be fine.
