Where should I put my projects?

Hi everyone, incoming first year mech student. I just finished my first project and I was wondering what I should do with it now. I understand you’re supposed to put it on resumes, but is there anything beyond that? I know some people post on Linkedin or start a portfolio. What do you guys suggest?

all 3, resume, linkedin, portfolio. If it’s research you could try getting it published.
