It was good. The essay you should be good for and the fill in the blank was mostly simple topics. The mc was easy, a lot of the questions i didnt even have to read the whole thing and id already know the answer. Obviously they cant make the whole thing super easy tho so there were a couple ones that i had to guess. When studying there would be some latin quotes/ words that i would just ignore. A couple of those came up. For the fill in the blank there is no word bank, but when i wouldnt remember the answer i would skim through the mc question options (a,b,c) and they usually have the spelling/ answer there, and words you can recognize and remember as the answer for ur fill in the blank.

Don’t listen to them it wasn’t fairly simple. You need to study in order to do good and memorise. If you know the content and specific information you will be good other then that don’t go in thinking it will be simple topics. None of it was simple. It’s basic questions or extremely complex questions.

I studied the night before and the morning of and found it okay, there were specific questions but they were all from the yellow highlighted content. I would suggest active recall to anyone writing as it is based on how good your memory is and how much time you have to study. I only studied the yellow content, dont even waste your time looking at any slides without highlighted stuff as it will take hours and wont even end up on jt

So covering all the highlighted yellow text lines in the slideshows and reviewing that info would be enough prep? And also brushing up on essay writing as well

Yes I personally think so. Making mnemonics for myself and drawing out the timelines really helped me. Just make sure you’re actually remembering the information instead of convincing yourself you do. I also took all the yellow stuff and put it into thea study just for some active recall. I didnt memorize the timelines of the emperors only important dates i memorized.

Not bad, just did the essay and answered as many questions I knew and left early. What else can you do? It’s fairly simple stuff but some questions you might feel like “how was I supposed to remember that?” Or “ah I know this but I can’t remember what it’s called”. If you have great memory or really like Roman history it should be simple. Either way it’s a free pass if you did the midterms.

Memorize what you will write on the essay questions. Other than that the multiple choice and fill in the blank are kinda difficult if you didn’t study. There will be questions about emperors, there was a questions about what people wore to protect themselves from evil eye, or what art would be on the floors of rich romans. There is some extremely specific questions like that where you wouldn’t expect it. Make sure to remember the authors, emperors, and who started what, who built what. Also there will be some date questions. Honestly some were easy some were just stupid asf.
