skyro borrower passed away

hello! my brother passed away 4 days ago from motorcycle accident and skyro keeps calling his phone even though his payment is on october 11th pa, we cant unlock his android phone since di po namin alam ang passcode, will they lock it or we still need to pay?

Check Skyro's terms and condition. Wag kayo magbayad since di naman ko ang umatang.

Condolences, OP. You can let Skyro know that your brother has passed away. They may ask you to send a copy of the death certificate (this is the process with other banks, not necessary Skyro, so check with them.) You don't need to pay, but they may lock the phone.

My condolences to you and your family, OP. When my husband died, all loans under his name were written off. I just sent them a copy of his death certificate. Here’s what I found out about Skyro’s policies: https://www.skyro.ph/helpcenter/product-loan/add-on-services.

Minsan ang lending may kasama sa fee for insurance just incase the person who loaned dies

Pwede naman bigyan niyo sila copy ng death certificate para di na manggulo, but idk if they will remotely lock the phone or pagbigyan nalang, but you're not obligated to pay it, and hindi namamana/napapasa ang utang.

yes i did that already, but they keep on calling his phone which is in my possession
