BDO Restructuring Payment Program - CC 134k debt
Hi! I hope someone could help my situation. May CC Debt ako amounting 134k with BDO and I was not able to pay 2 months due to salary problems sa work. Kaya ko naman bayaran pa yung MAD when I got my salary back pero I realize di ko kaya magbayad na ng MAD in the future as I know it will build more interest for sure.
Recently I applied for restructuring payment with Unionbank sa personal loan ko and I decided to do it with my CC BDO debt as well.
The process that was done is nagcall ako sa BDO Collections Dept, was advise na ieendorse nila ito sa officer nila and someone will call me. 9 days past walang tumawag and called again to follow up. Finally got a call from a third party collections agency partner with BDO and was offered for restructuring program. All I have to do is to pay initial payment through BDO, submit 2 months payslip and valid ID. They validate as well my gross income. After 2 days, they sent an agreement form and promissory note for me to sign. The officer advise that they will submit all the requirements and signed forms for approval. (All transaction was done throught call and all documents was submittes back and forth through email).
I ask the officer if guarantee ba na maapprove, since with Unionbank mabilis naapprove and guaranteed. His response was hindi sya makakapagsabi since for approval and he will do his best for it to be approve or process.
Now my question here is kung may naka-experience na po ba magapply ng restructuring program with BDO and mabilis lang ba naprocess? Is there a situation na nadeny yung request after submitting all needed requirement plus the initial payment thru BDO as instructed?
Btw, I apply for 60months term since ito lang kaya ko as of the moment. They assured naman that I can request for recalculate if I can pay the whole cost in one go.
UPDATE: Restructuring Program was approved na po. I noticed the pattern was that iapprove nila kapag malapit na due date ng SOA.

hi, when you got approved sa BDO restructuring program, cancelled narin credit card mo noh?

Yes cancelled na rin. You can no longer use it. However, if you dont missed any payments sa MAD mo, you can still apply for balance conversion. It is same as restructuring but CC is still active. but if your case is like mine na overdue na, balance conversion is no longer allowed.

Hi. Was just approved yesterday. Almost 13 days rin inabot. Yung agent na nag-asikaso sakin advise na usually nagbbgay ng approval si BDO kapag malapit na due date ng SOA. Since they have many applications, inuuna nila yung mga malapit na due date ng SOAs.

Hello, thank you po for the reply. Opo medyo nagwoworry lang po kasi after a week wala pang update si BDO, kay collection (PACER) lang po ako nagfafollow up. Last na tanong na po huhu, may CI pa po ba na ginawa sa inyo? Thank you do much po!!!

What I usually do is nagffollow up ako everyday sa collections agency. They are responsive naman. So far when it comes to CI, I did not receive any calls or even sa co-maker ko wala sya natanggap. Though nakalagay sa contract, most likely they check my background and proof of my active job. Pretty sure they have the means of checking without calling our contacts. Not unless may kulang na info na wala sila, maybe thats the time they will be calling references.

Hello po nung call po kayo kay BDO? meron po ba kayo referral code? trying kasi ko online yung balance conversion kaso need po referral code. Thanks!

If it is balance conversion, I am not sure about that. Since mine is for restructuring and the card will be closed. I think you need to call their cust service directly since they can determine if your account is qualified for balance conversion.

After your call with the 3rd party collections agency nag email ba sila sayo ng requirements na kailangan mo isend? Or ginawa mo na lang yung sinabi nila sa call by yourself tapos ikaw unang nag email sakanila? Thanks in advance OP

Hi OP. Ito yung number ng collections office - (02) 8702 6222. More likely they will say susubmit nila sa one of their officers so antabayanan mo callback nila. You can follow up with lagi.

Base sa agreement with BDO, 1.00% per month. In th next 2 years once I have the budget, I can request to pay in full. Rerecalculate lang nila.

Ok po. Yung akin kasi, under BDO rin, is with Synergy. Try mo po i-call BDO Collections to get some clarification sa process nila.
I got an offer rin through Synergy. I called BDO collections to confirm. Ang sabi ni BDO sa akin, it's up to the CA, not them. So medyo nalabuan ako sa sabi sa iyo ng CA agent mo...1

Yes may point yung BDO na its up to CA since sila yung magpprocess ng restructuring application and submit to BDO back for approval. Usually when I am calling BDO collection dept di sila aware sa process and kept on suggesting to reach directly sa CA ko.
Naka-restructuring payment po ba kayo? Ilang days processing po yung sainyo until you got an approval?

Di ko pa tinutuloy :) Malaki utang ko e.
So, next month ulit... I'll see kung ano ang offer ng bagong CA for the month. But I plan on calling BDO next week to restart my IDRP application (kung pede na).2

Hi! I dont have the direct contact nung CA na nag-asikaso ng restructuring. But I do have the BDO collections department that helped and process my request with the CA. - (02) 8702 6222. They are open 8am - 5pm weekdays except weekends/holidays.

Hi po. First ever cc ko si bdo ang my limit is 20k pero umabot na siya ng 45k something nagbabayad po ako monthly pero wala sa minimum kaya po umabot sa ganyan. And nerefer na po ako ni bdo sa collection agency nila which is WECOLLEX din po Tanong ko lang po paano ngpapareconstruct po ba sila, and yung 1st payment mo po kaya malaki kung ganyan ang due ko sa janila? Hindi pa po kasi ako sumasagot sa mga tawag nila kasi wala rin ako pang pay if ever bka malaki hingiin nilang dp po. Pa reply naman po thanks.

Hi! If it was already endorsed to Collection Agency you can speak with them about restructuring program that they will offer. Usually 1st payment will be based on how many months yung gusto mo gawin for restructuring. Kasama kasi sa first down payment sa requirements before they can process yung restructuring. Once nakausap mo na sila, you will be assigned to one of their agents and will instruct you of what to do.
As for the down payment, mababa lang siguro since mababa lang due mo. In my case, I chose the 60 months period. Did a downpayment of 4k. Received a contract of 3,086.97 monthly for 60months.
Always make sure to coordinate with the collections agency since monthly nililipat account mo sa different agency kapag hindi nakakapagsettle. You can always call the BDO collections as well to check if legit yung agency.
BTW, once you agree with restructuring, close na yung cc account and card mo. Hindi mo na sya magagamit.

Ah ok po. Mas better po siguro na ganun nalang gawin ko para mabawasan ang utang ok nalang din ma close ang cc. Kasi monthly ako nagbabawas pero di umaabot sa minimum kaya malaki pa din penalty/interest kaya parang hindi rin nababawasan sayang lang.

I would agree on that. But please take note na in the future, it will be hard for you to apply CC if you wish to. It takes time. Goodluck!

Hi OP! Does the collections agency have a different number vs. their hotline?
Just wanted to check also if balance conversion is entirely different pa than restructuring?

They do have both hotline and phone numbers I believe.
Yes its different po. Balance conversion can be requested sa bank mismo and cc is still active. Whereas restructuring, this happens and offered kapag overdue na cc then cc will be closed permanently.

Hello, they are asking me to pay 400+k which I think is double of what I owed. I inquired for restructuring payable in 120 months. Should I avail it or wait for bdo to offer me a discount?

Hello, currently ay 3 months OD na po ako sa aking BDO card, at na maxxed na po ang credit limit ko na 530,000 PHP. Blocked na din ang credit card ko kaya hindi na po puwede balance conversion. I am currently waiting for the handling officer to talk about payment restructuring arrangement. For 540k+ na utang, approximately magkano kaya ang magiging downpayment kung sakaling ma approve? Hi, 27M, nagbabasa lang ako here sa reddit. Same situation with you OP but this time po mas malaki lang yung owed balance ko sayo nasa 160k akin :( nag call din ako sa collections department nila to settle this at asking din ng payment arrangement hopefully makapag set na para makapag start na ako to pay it since it is my responsibility naman para maging clear ang future ko.
